Digital Accessibility Commitment Statement

We are committed to creating digital content and documents that people can access, understand and use independently. Accessibility supports equitable access to information, improves usability for everyone, and helps organizations meet their accessibility responsibilities.

Our Commitment

  1. Accessible and Inclusive Design
We consider accessibility from the beginning of the design and production process, creating content that is clear, usable and inclusive for people with diverse abilities and access needs.
  2. Current Accessibility Standards
Our work is guided by recognized accessibility standards and best practices, including the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA and PDF/UA, as applicable to the content and format.
  3. Accessible Documents
We incorporate accessibility into document structure, navigation, reading order, colour and contrast, alternative text, tables, forms and other content elements to support effective use with assistive technologies.
  4. Testing and Quality Assurance
Accessibility is validated using a combination of automated tools, manual review and assistive technology testing, as appropriate. We recognize that automated testing alone cannot determine whether content is truly accessible.
  5. Continuous Learning and Improvement
Accessibility standards, technologies and best practices continue to evolve. We are committed to ongoing professional development and to reviewing and improving our accessibility practices as the field advances.
  6. Feedback and Accountability
We welcome feedback about the accessibility of our website, documents and services. If you encounter an accessibility barrier or have difficulty accessing information, please contact us so we can work to address the issue.

Accessibility and Compliance

Our work supports organizations in meeting applicable accessibility requirements and recognized standards, including the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA), the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act, WCAG 2.2 Level AA and PDF/UA, where applicable.

We also recognize CAN-ASC-3.1:2025 – Plain Language as an important Canadian standard for creating information that people can find, understand and use. Where appropriate, accessibility and plain-language work may include consultation or testing with the intended audience, with feedback used to identify barriers and improve the final content.

At epubsupport, accessibility is more than a compliance requirement. It is about making sure information reaches the people it is intended to serve.

We help people communicate with people — and accessibility helps make that communication possible.
